Meta (Facebook) — user data deletion
Last updated: April 10, 2026
If you connected Meta (Facebook) to Synapic AI for your organization's workspace, you can control and remove that connection and related data as follows.
Remove the app from Facebook
In Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites. Remove Synapic AI (or your deployment's app name). You can also use View removed apps and websites and send a data deletion request; our servers receive that request and remove stored Meta OAuth tokens and integration settings tied to your Facebook account where we can match them.
Disconnect inside Synapic AI
Sign in to Synapic AI, open the relevant client under configuration, edit the client, and use Disconnect on the Meta integration. That removes the stored connection for that client from our systems.
After you request deletion via Facebook
Meta provides a confirmation link and code when you submit a deletion request. Open that link to see the status of your request. If no Meta connection was stored for your Facebook account in this deployment, no further action may be required on our side.
